Molly’s Den, Roydon, Sandringham & surrounding villages

Pretty as a picture, this charming annexe cottage is the ultimate idyllic hideaway for two. Tucked away on a quiet lane in a pretty village that sits on the edge of the Sandringham Estate, you are within easy reach of the coast and the many gems to be found in North West Norfolk. And, with two great pubs just a short stroll away, how perfect is that?

Molly’s Den is a true delight – a relaxing and peaceful escape away from the stresses and strains of daily life, with secure bike storage too! Although it’s the perfect hideout for two, it’s just as welcoming for a solo traveller looking for some quiet time out. On arrival, the clematis clad exterior and pretty blue windows set the scene. The light and airy country-style accommodation is laid out over two floors, with an open-plan living area and kitchen on the ground floor, along with a shower room. A cast iron spiral staircase leads up to the romantic bedroom above where you will find a luxurious super-king size bed dressed in Egyptian cotton linen. The bed can be split into full-size twin single beds if preferred (please request desired option on booking). The bedroom is flooded with light from windows to two sides and a Velux window above. Half open the shutters on the large arched window and enjoy being woken by a gentle filtered light. Outside the cottage, there is a courtyard garden with table and chairs, inviting you outdoors on sunny days to take a seat and enjoy a drink or bite to eat, while listening to the birds sing.

Calling out to walkers, birders, cyclists, golfers, beach and country house lovers and, of course, those of a romantic disposition – it’s all here for you to enjoy! If you would appreciate some on-hand local knowledge and advice on where to go and what to do to make the most of your holiday, the lovely owner of Molly’s Den lives next door and will be very happy to help you plan your stay, be it a short or longer one.
